About

The Nan Tolbert Nurturing Center (NTNC) is dedicated to the nurture of children pre-birth to three, through inspiring partnerships and community resources that address pre and post-natal wellbeing, infant/ toddler development, and parent education and support.

In partnership with parents, health professionals, educators and the Ojai Valley (Ventura County ?) community, we create opportunities to connect, to explore, and to engage directly in the development of healthy approaches to early childhood education.

Since 2000, the Nan Tolbert Nurturing Center (formerly known as the Ojai Valley Birth Resource and Family Support), a non-profit 501(c)(3), has worked in partnership with Ojai Valley Neighborhood for Learning to improve the quality of life for Ventura County infants and young children pre-birth to age three. NTNC is the only organization in Ventura County expressly dedicated to the nuture and development of children ages zero to three.

The Center offers an array of programs that foster physical, mental, and social development; healthy parent-child relationships; and community involvement in family well-being. Through the services of local nurses, educators, early childhood specialists, parents, and concerned members of the community; we have provided prevention and enrichment programs and support to over 2,000 families, all aimed at helping young children and families reach their fullest potential (and be prepared for school readiness and success.)
